FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
Seeking professional help can be a deeply personal decision and one that is not made easily.
Sometimes life events muddy our perspective in allowing us to feel or operate at our fullest potential.
If you're experiencing difficulty with managing your emotions or the many roles you hold, therapy may be a great option.
Case management and therapy are two distinct but complementary approaches to supporting individuals in addressing their needs and improving their overall well-being.
Case management involves coordinating various services and resources to help individuals or families navigate complex systems, such as healthcare, social services, or legal systems.
Our dedicated team of experienced professionals is here to provide personalized support, guidance, and advocacy every step of the way. Whether you're facing a healthcare crisis, seeking assistance with resource finding, or simply looking to streamline your daily life, we're committed to helping you achieve your goals and improve your overall well-being.
With our fee-based case management services, you'll gain access to tailored solutions, expert advice, and a network of trusted resources designed to meet your specific needs.
Our first approach is meeting people where they are and making them as comfortable as possible.
The first session is called an initial session and will be an opportunity for me to understand your situation, as well as determine whether our relationship is a good fit.
We will work on setting goals for therapy and discussing how we can achieve them.
A typical therapy session is 50-53 minutes and is usually scheduled weekly at the beginning of services.
As therapy moves forward, we can discuss how moving to a biweekly schedule may be beneficial.
Everyone's needs are different and will be discussed with you at our initial session or consultation.
We are happy to accept Cigna, BCBS NC, United Health Care, and Aetna. Please make sure to check with your insurance carrier for benefits and copays.
We accept all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA cards.
Length of session may vary based on treatment plan and clinical recommendation; but often sessions are 50-53 minutes long. Each appointment will be billed at a rate of $165 per therapeutic hour, for individual therapy. Initial intake sessions are billed at $185 per therapeutic hour.
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item.
You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
